The engine that could, an introduction to the features, benefits, and challenges of framework based development in Flash.

Description: David Castillo, lead developer and architect at CTC will demonstrate an XML-based framework developed entirely in Flash. He will walk us through how CTC is utilizing the new xml features of Microsoft Tools such as Word 2007 and SharePoint to streamline and integrate their design and development processes. Lastly, David will walk us through a sampling of actual xml files to get a feel for the semantics needed to fully describe a typical Interactive eLearning type presentation.

Bio - David Castillo, lead developer and framework architect at Concurrent Technologies Corporation has designed numerous Interactive eLearning programs for companies in both private and public sectors. David is co-author of “Flash MX for Interactive Simulation” and has presented at numerous technology and learning conferences including eLearning Guild, AICC, ASTD, ISPI, EuroTAAC, and Flash Forward.
